I spent 5 wonderful nights at Serenity Retreat. Neshla and Simon were brilliant hosts and looked after us extremely well. The gite was beautiful and well equipped, we had lovely meals provided for us and also given the freedom to have breakfast in our gite. The place is such an escape away from stressful life and only a little walk over the fields and you’re in the town with a small selection of cafe/bar, creperie and good supermarket. We enjoyed the market in Baignes, an evening spent in Jonzac at the live music and world food stalls and sampled a completely different social scene to what we are used to in the UK.
